From big hair, to Atari, to the Rubix Cube.. Remember the 80's?

Fashion... Are you still kicking yourself for giving away those super-slick-great-for-breakin' purple parachute pants? Do you only truly feel comfortable in Izod? Devastated that Gloria Vanderbilt isn't putting out multi-colored pinstripped jeans this spring? Or were you more comfortable in the concert T-Shirt you bought at the Coliseum? Did your Sperry Topsiders last all year or were you forced to go buy a pair of clogs - guys and girls? Do you still have your "Members Only" jacket? Did your hair style include a "tail" or did you spend an hour or so in front of the mirror wondering if the Farrah Fawcett or the Flock of Seagulls look was still in? Did you wear your collar up? Were you an Urban Cowboy chasing after a Valley Girl?

Our Friend - Pacman
Music... MTV was a gimmick that had us listen to the music with our eyes. JOURNEY told us "Don't stop believing.. Hold on to that Feeeling". STYX reminded us that it was "The Best of Times" while Lionel Richey swooned us with his ballads. FAME and FLASHDANCE changed the way we danced and dressed. The GOGO's came to the Richfield Coliseum and STING was still a member of the POLICE. BOSTON and CHICAGO were rock bands, not just cities. VAN HALEN and AEROSMITH spawned the birth of the big haired glam-bands like WHITE LION, SURVIVOR and GLASS TIGER. The daddy of all glam bands was BON JOVI and their "Shot To The Heart". REO SPEEDWAGON had us tuned into HI-INFIDELITY while BOZ SCAGGS cried "Look What You've Done to Me". Nobody confused RICK SPRINGFIELD and "Jessie's Girl" with BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and "Born in the USA". WHAM shouted "Wake me up before you go-go" and THE EAGLES had us all checked into "Hotel California"...

MTV anyone?
